1st place overall for 2012 Race season
Tim Norris wins his 2nd consecutive and 3rd Ontario Pro Challenge Championship. Congratulations to Tim and the Lucas Racing Team!
It is very hard to put into words how I feel about driving the apprenticesearch car. It seems like only a few weeks ago we had our first meeting. Looking back it is amazing what we have accomplished together. I am honoured and very proud to say that together we have won our third Ontario Pro Challenge Championship!!!!!!! We finished up this season at Sunset Speedway, everyone drives fast at this track. After winning two races in a row, you would think that we had the car to beat, right? Not wanting to sit back and just go racing, my team went for a whole new setup.... Read on
1st place overall for 2011 Race season
After a very long uphill battle, our team has won the championship for a second time. We put our heads down and worked harder than ever to complete the task. The season started terrible and we only could race 10 of the 11 races this year. It is very special to be able to miss a race and still win the season championship points. I want to thank everyone at apprenticesearch.com, the posters and readers of this blog, my family friends and team sponsors for a great year.... Read on
2nd place overall for 2010 Race season
Thanks to everyone at apprenticesearch.com for another great year of racing. Our team had many highlights this season. We set a Pro Challenge track record for qualifying and won 3 races including a 50 lap special event. Thanks to all those who cheered for our team this year. We will be back next season looking to move up one more spot in the championship.
What a great way to finish off the season. Testing at Flamboro went great. We dialed the car in perfectly. Fortunately for us the race on Saturday had the exact same weather conditions. Second in the heat race and starting in the 8th spot for the feature. It took us 12 laps to get to the lead and we just drove away to a 4 car length lead. Dave and Jason did a great job after the heat race changing out a suspect ignition coil. Repaired with plenty of time to spare. Now the off season starts. Strip the car down and shine it all up, replace any worn parts and get ready for next year. What colour should we paint it for next year????
The season came to an abrupt stop on the front stretch at Sunset Speedway. I will give you one guess why........ Imagine that, more rain!!!!!! We managed to do some practice and that was fun, but we really want to go racing. Thanks to everyone at apprenticesearch.com for the tremendous support all season long. We look forward to next year and some fall shows. Thanks to all the fans from Norris Racing.

Dream Building at Rose Cherry's Home
Just outside Milton, dozens of tradesmen are perfecting their craft while working towards the dream of Rose Cherry's Home For Kids. The facility will serve as a haven for terminally and chronically ill children and their families. On site, along with Coop students, apprentices and other journeymen, was Apprenticesearch.com partner Tim Norris.
